The 2025 Yamaha R15 range has been launched in India with refreshed colours under its ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign. Comprising the R15M, R15 Version 4 (V4), and R15S, the new line-up is priced from ₹1.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
- R15M: New Metallic Grey
- R15 V4: New Metallic Black (customer-driven demand), updated Racing Blue graphics, and the globally acclaimed Matte Pearl White (India debut, exclusive to V4).
- R15S: New Matte Black with vermillion wheels.
With over 1 million units sold in India, Yamaha emphasizes the R15’s continued dominance in the entry-level supersport category, celebrated for its aggressive styling, racing DNA, and track-bred performance.
All models are powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine delivering 18.4 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm, paired with a DiASil cylinder and Deltabox frame.
Key features include traction control, assist & slipper clutch, quick shifter (select variants), USD forks, and linked-type monocross suspension.
