The Vivo T4R 5G is scheduled to launch in India on July 31 at 12 PM IST as the latest addition to the T4 series. Company officials have now confirmed the launch date and some specifications along with the sleek new design very quietly. Customers will be able to purchase the Vivo T4R 5G from Flipkart, Vivo’s official online store and select physical retailers.
The Vivo T4R 5G smartphone will apparently be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset inside pretty sleek packaging. It will sport a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear sensor camera-wise. Front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording flawlessly.
In terms of design, the Vivo T4R 5G closely mirrors the aesthetics of the Vivo T4 Ultra. It features a pill-shaped camera module aligned vertically on the rear. Two sensors sit neatly within a circular cutout near the top, and a ring-shaped Aura Light hugs the bottom fairly snugly.
The device boasts a quad-curved display with ultra-thin bezels and a centered hole-punch cutout for the front camera rather elegantly nowadays. The right side of the handset hosts the volume and power buttons.The phone allegedly boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance against water and dust under various harsh conditions quite effectively. Measuring merely 7.3mm thick, this smartphone is being hyped as India’s slimmest handset sporting a rather exotic quad-curved display.
