Oben Electric unveiled its latest tech-loaded electric motorcycle, Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, tailored specifically for urban Indian riders with a sleek design. The Rorr EZ Sigma, priced at an introductory Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom), evolves from the original Rorr EZ with several enhancements aimed squarely at the daily commute.
Upgraded features include intelligent notifications for calls and music, a clear 5-inch TFT colour display, and user-friendly reverse mode functionality. It gets a snazzy ergonomic seat and super striking graphics in a fresh electric red hue option. Oben’s proprietary LFP battery powers the Rorr EZ Sigma, which comes in two variants, with prices ranging from Rs 1.27 lakh (introductory) for the 3.4kWh variant and Rs 1.55 lakh (regular) for the 4.4kWh variant.
Both variants boast a top speed of 95 km/h and accelerate pretty quickly from 0–40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, delivering an impressive 52Nm of torque meanwhile. While the regular price of the 3.4kWh variant stands at Rs 1.47 lakh, the 4.4kWh variant is being offered at a discounted introductory price of Rs 1.37 lakh. The bike offers an IDC range of up to 175 km, with three disparate riding modes, namely Eco, City, and Havoc, and fast-charging support.
Riders can tap into Oben’s supercharged mobile app, free for one year, featuring GPS-based Find My Rorr and ride analytics, amongst other cool stuff. The Rorr EZ Sigma sits on Oben’s indigenous ARX frame, boasting 200mm ground clearance and a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock for enhanced control, with Unified Brake Assist.
