Zelo Electric rolls out the Knight+ electric scooter in India at an ex-showroom price of â‚ą59,990, claiming it to be the most budget-friendly option currently available. Knight+ is positioned as a premium option on a budget, aiming squarely at making electric vehicle ownership accessible nationwide rapidly. Knight+ boasts a 100km real-world range with a 1.8kWh portable LFP battery onboard and exhibits remarkably high thermal stability. It runs on a 1.5kW motor and offers a top speed of 55kmph, making it practical for daily commutes with decent acceleration.
In line with its mission to democratize electric mobility, Zelo has equipped the Knight+ with several segment-first features, including:
- Hill Hold Control for better handling on slopes
• Cruise Control for effortless long rides
• Follow-Me-Home headlamps for added safety in dark environments
• USB charging port for convenience
• Removable battery for easy charging at home
The scooter will be offered in six color options, including glossy white, glossy black, and four dual-tone combinations such as matte blue & white and matte yellow & white.

Safety tech like Hill Hold Control and LFP batteries are carefully crafted for real-life usability in every element. Pre-bookings for Knight+ are open across Zelo Electric dealerships in various parts of India, with deliveries kicking off August 20, 2025.
