BMW has rolled out the 2025 BMW X5 in India, with prices ranging from ₹1 crore for the base model to ₹1.15 crore for the top variant, ex-showroom. You can get the new BMW X5 with either a petrol xDrive40i or a diesel xDrive30d, and there’s also the sharper-looking M Sport Pro trim for those who want more edge.
From the curb, the 2025 BMW X5 shows off a sharper look with matrix adaptive LED headlights, L-shaped 3D tail lamps that catch the light, new 21-inch alloy wheels, and an M Sport Pro package that brings blacked-out trim, bright red brake calipers, and a throaty M Sport exhaust. Buyers can pick from six metallic paint shades, ranging from a cool steel gray to a deep, glossy bronze.
Inside, the SUV’s cabin feels sleek and up-to-date, anchored by a sweeping curved display that holds a crisp 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a vivid 14.9-inch infotainment screen. Inside, the X5 pampers you with plush comfort seats that adjust at the touch of a button, four-zone climate control to keep every passenger perfectly comfortable, an immersive Harman Kardon surround sound system, BMW ConnectedDrive for seamless connectivity, effortless keyless entry, and intelligent parking assistance that glides the SUV smoothly into even the tightest spaces.
You can choose between a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol in the X5 xDrive40i, delivering 381 bhp and 520 Nm for a 0–100 km/h dash in 5.4 seconds, or a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel in the X5 xDrive30d, putting out 286 bhp and a hefty 650 Nm, hitting 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. Each engine pairs with a 48V mild-hybrid system and an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, while the Adaptive 2-Axle Air Suspension smooths out even the sharp jolts of a pothole.
For the first time, every 2025 BMW X5 in India comes with the xOffroad Package, giving you four drive modes—xSand, xRocks, xGravel, and xSnow—plus extra underbody protection and clear off-road displays, so you’re ready for anything from loose gravel to deep snow. Thanks to these updates, the new BMW X5 now stands toe-to-toe with the Mercedes-Benz GLE, giving buyers a mix of plush comfort, sharp performance, and the grit to handle a muddy trail.
