Nothing Ear 3

Nothing has just revealed its next-generation flagship earbuds, the Nothing Ear 3, keeping the sleek transparent shell while adding a standout feature it calls the Super Mic. Inside the charging case, a dual-microphone system springs to life with a press of the Talk button, cutting up to 95dB of background noise so your voice comes through crisp and clear during calls. This feature also lets you record your voice, saving the files to Essential Space on Nothing phones with transcripts generated automatically, while on other devices, they’re saved in the phone’s built-in recording app.

Design and Features of Nothing Ear 3

The Ear 3 keeps its signature transparent stems stamped with the Nothing logo, while its case—finished in sleek metal and topped with a clear lid—comes in both black and white. These earbuds cut up to 45dB of noise with ANC, run on punchy 12mm dynamic drivers, and even offer spatial audio that makes music feel like it’s swirling around you. Each earbud packs three microphones and a bone-conduction Voice Pick-up Unit (VPU), so voices come through crisp while gusts of wind drop to a whisper—reduced by as much as 25dB.

The Ear 3 packs Bluetooth 5.4, lets you stay connected to two devices at once, and shrugs off dust and light splashes with its IP54 rating. With the case’s 500mAh battery, you can get up to 38 hours of playtime, and each earbud packs its own 55mAh cell—about the size of a tiny shirt button. The case works with wireless charging, so you can just set it on the pad and watch the battery icon light up.

Price, Availability, and India Launch Plans

Priced at $179 in the US (about ₹15,800), £179 in the UK (around ₹21,500), and €179 in Europe (roughly ₹18,700), the earbuds hit shelves worldwide on September 25. India’s still on the waiting list, and Nothing hasn’t announced the price or launch date yet. Nothing’s CMF sub-brand will roll out its first over-the-ear headphones later this month, right alongside the Ear 3, with sleek matte cups that catch the light.
