Google’s AI Mode with Special Homepage DoodleGoogle used its homepage Doodle rather recently to spotlight AI Mode, a new search tool driven entirely by artificial intelligence. Clicking on the animated Doodle from Tuesday took users directly to AI Mode, a chatbot-like assistant built to tackle complex or detailed questions. This Doodle featured a share button somewhat unusually, and it isn’t typical of most Doodles created nowadays online.
A Google spokesperson said this wasn’t some traditional Doodle but rather a promo effort geared towards raising awareness about that feature. Google’s most prominent attempts bring AI Mode to the forefront gradually since its intro in March, slowly gaining momentum now.
Backed by Google’s Gemini AI, AI Mode streamlines search by addressing complex questions that usually take several queries to resolve. Users interact via text, voice, or uploads, and AI-generated responses are provided by the tool, highlighting Google’s push to stay competitive with platforms like Perplexity AI, ChatGPT & Claude.
