Mahindra XUV700 facelift heavily camouflaged and spotted testing vigorously for the first time with some notable exterior changes apparently underway. Mahindra XUV700 receives its first major facelift rather quietly since debuting in 2021 amidst much fanfare and loud industry buzz. A heavily camouflaged test mule of the facelifted model was spotted undergoing trials recently in a hilly area, giving a glimpse of forthcoming changes. Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Expected Updates Mahindra XUV700 facelift brings a refreshed look with subtle updates that significantly revamp this popular SUV’s overall aesthetic appeal. Sleek headlamp clusters on the current model will be supplanted with circular LED units sporting LED rings that function as daytime running lights. A drastic shift emerges from the signature C-shaped daytime running lights found on existing models. Spy shots also reveal auxiliary lights protruding awkwardly from the setup, although these are probably not part of the production version later. The front grille design has been significantly revamped, featuring extra slats down low for quite a bolder overall appearance now. The lower bumper sports a sleeker air dam vent, markedly enhancing the facelift’s contemporary visual appeal with somewhat bold new design elements. The overall silhouette and taillight design seem largely unchanged from the current version, but alloy wheels get a subtle facelift while still looking sleek. Mahindra will likely augment feature sets further inside, despite the XUV700 already being one of the most well-equipped vehicles in its competitive class. Anticipated upgrades include ventilated seats for both rows and an upgraded Harman audio system boasting Dolby Atmos under a triple-screen dashboard layout. Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Powertrain Options The facelifted XUV700 retains much of the same engine lineup, quite possibly with powertrain options remaining largely unchanged overall. It will retain its powerful engine lineup, featuring the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol and the robust 2.2-litre mHawk diesel options. Both powertrains will be hooked up with a 6-speed manual gearbox or torque converter automatic transmission. The top-spec diesel automatic variant will offer an optional all-wheel-drive system, ensuring no compromise on sheer performance capabilities.
