JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the much-anticipated MG Cyberster electric roadster in India, pricing it at an introductory Rs 72.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for pre-reserving customers. New bookings are priced at Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and deliveries are slated to kick off on August 10, 2025. The Cyberster will be sold exclusively through MG Select, the brand’s premium retail network, designed to offer a personalized and upscale buying experience complemented by strategic marketing initiatives. The MG Cyberster boldly melds vintage open-top flair with cutting-edge EV tech in a fresh take on the iconic MGB Roadster heritage. It’s being hailed as MG’s fastest model ever made, with seriously high performance capabilities and a futuristic aesthetic appeal. A dual-motor all-wheel-drive system powers this car, delivering 510bhp and 725Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. Performance credentials get a boost from a remarkably low drag coefficient measuring 0.269 Cd, which puts it among the best in class. Fine-tuning of the car’s suspension and handling was done with input from ex-Formula 1 engineer Marco Fainello, featuring a double wishbone setup and nearly 50:50 weight distribution.
