Maruti Victoris SUV Launched in India With Level 2 ADAS and 5-Star BNCAP Rating
Maruti Suzuki has rolled out its all-new Maruti Victoris SUV in India, slotting it just above the Grand Vitara in the lineup. Crossing the 4.3-metre mark, the Victoris ranks among the longest in its segment while securing a stellar 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. Pre-bookings are now open for ₹11,000. Maruti Victoris Powertrain Options Under the hood, the SUV runs on a 1.5-litre petrol engine, offered with either a mild-hybrid setup or a punchier strong-hybrid for extra pull. You can choose a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic with crisp paddle shifters, or an eCVT on the strong-hybrid models. Buyers also get four terrain settings, plus three drive modes—like switching from a smooth city cruise to a steady climb up a gravel hill. Exterior From the outside, the Victoris shows off a bold new look—its LED tail light bar stretches in one sleek line across the rear, while a reworked grille, crisp DRLs and headlights, squared arches, 17-inch dual-tone alloys, and bright white skid plates add sharp detail. A powered tailgate you can open with a wave of your hand, along with a sleek shark-fin antenna, give it a sharp, modern edge. Interior Inside, the cabin packs in 64-color ambient lighting that shifts like a sunset, a crisp 10.1-inch instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen loaded with Alexa and Suzuki Maps. The SUV comes with Dolby Atmos Infinity speakers that make music feel like it’s all around you, a wide panoramic sunroof, front seats that are ventilated and adjust eight ways, and a hidden CNG tank tucked neatly beneath the body. You can now choose from two fresh interior color themes, including one with a warm, deep oak finish. Variants and Colours The Victoris lineup spans eight variants—LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi (O), ZXi+, ZXi+ (O), ZXi+ 4WD, and ZXi+ (O) 4WD—available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive formats. You can choose from 10 shades, and two fresh ones—Eternal Blue and Mystic Green—stand out like a splash of paint on a white wall. You can also choose a dual-tone style, pairing bold colors with a sharp black roof that looks like fresh ink against the paint. Maruti Victoris Safety Ratings During safety assessments, the Victoris impressed with 31.66/32 points for Adult Occupant Protection and 43/49 for Child Occupant Protection—figures that put it among the highest-rated SUVs. It’s equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera that shows every angle like a bird’s-eye view, and Level 2 ADAS for added safety. Maruti Victoris Global Reach Maruti will manufacture the Victoris in India and export it to over 100 global markets.
