Battery and Charging Technology An 800-volt electrical architecture underpins the car’s performance, with tall, thin battery cells and specialized cooling systems. The car supports ultra-fast charging speeds of up to 850 kW, though the exact battery capacity has yet to be disclosed. A DC fast charger via a CCS port enables a remarkable 399 km range with just five minutes of charging. Mercedes is collaborating with Alpitronic on developing prototype chargers for public use. Interior and Sustainability The interior and sustainability aspects embody a drastic departure from the EQ models’ current hyperscreens, opting for two large minimalist displays with bold orange accents.
