Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Book 4 Edge laptop in India, priced at a whopping Rs 64,990. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X processor powers this Windows device based on ARM architecture, and it has 16GB RAM as standard. The Galaxy Book model, initially unveiled globally last September, has finally landed in the Indian market after the newer Galaxy Book 5 series debuted. Samsung’s most affordable laptop yet stands out notably as the Galaxy Book 4 Edge.
The Book 4 Edge stays true to Galaxy branding with a sleek, lightweight design and premium metallic luster finish in Arctic Blue, weighing 1.5kg. It boasts a rather large 15.6-inch display with anti-glare properties and promises a lengthy battery life of up to 27 hours.
Under the hood, it runs on an 8-core Snapdragon X chipset with a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz and packs a 45TOPS NPU for AI-driven performance. It runs Windows 11 out of the box and is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of eUFS internal storage.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, alongside HDMI 2.1 supporting 4K at 60Hz, USB 3.2, and dual USB 4.0 ports. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones are featured alongside a 1080p webcam and fingerprint scanner for enhanced functionality. The device packs a 61.2Wh battery and ships with a 65W USB Type-C charger included in the box.
The Galaxy Book 4 Edge is now available for purchase through Samsung’s online store, Flipkart, the Samsung Shop app, and select retail outlets. Buyers using certain bank cards can snag a Rs 5,000 cashback as part of the launch offer, effectively slashing the price down to Rs 59,990.
