Samsung rolled out its new Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series with just two options this time, the S11 and the bigger S11 Ultra, as the Plus model has been dropped. Both tablets pack upgraded hardware and major software boosts, with Galaxy AI and a sharper, more capable DeX mode ready to speed up your work.

Specs and Features: Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series

The Galaxy Tab S11 has an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, while the Ultra keeps its huge 14.6-inch display, now sharper and treated with an anti-glare coating that cuts harsh reflections. Both offer a 120Hz refresh rate and can hit 1600 nits at peak, dropping to about 1000 nits in high brightness mode—bright enough to make text stand out in sunlight.

Samsung trimmed the front camera down to a single 12MP lens on both models, but the Ultra packs a dual rear setup—a 13MP wide and an 8MP ultrawide, ready to capture everything from street murals to sweeping skylines.

At the heart of the series sits the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus chip, paired with a default 12GB of RAM, while the Ultra model boosts that to 16GB and a massive 1TB of storage—room enough for thousands of photos and videos.

The Tab S11 carries an 8,400mAh battery, while the Ultra steps up with an 11,600mAh pack—enough to last through a full day and still stream a late-night movie.

Both devices ship with One UI 8 on top of Android 16, and Samsung promises seven years of OS and security updates—long enough to keep the tablets running smoothly for years to come. You’ll get Galaxy AI tools like writing assist, drawing assist, Circle to Search, and Gemini Live—everything from quick text help to sketching ideas on the spot.

DeX now includes an extended mode, so you can drag and drop files between your tablet and an external monitor—like sliding a photo from one screen to another—and it supports up to four separate workspace profiles.

Samsung’s new S-Pen now has a cone-shaped tip for sharper tilt sensitivity and a hexagonal body that feels steadier in your hand, like a well-balanced pencil, and it comes alongside the slim Book Cover Keyboard, which adds a dedicated Galaxy AI Key.

You’ll also get perks like free or discounted access to third-party productivity apps, including Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, and LumaFusion—perfect for jotting quick notes or editing a video on the fly.

Both tablets come with 5G, but the Ultra steps up to Wi-Fi 7 while the standard model sticks with Wi-Fi 6E, fast enough to stream a movie in seconds.

They’re IP68-rated, built with a sturdy metal chassis, and offered in sleek Gray or shimmering Silver. The Galaxy Tab S11 series will launch in India at the same time as the rest of the world, but the price tag—still under wraps—hasn’t been revealed yet.
