Tata Motors has rolled out the Tata Ace Gold+ diesel mini-truck, starting at Rs 5.52 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable option in the Ace diesel lineup. Built for solid performance and the lowest Total Cost of Ownership in its class, the vehicle speaks directly to small business owners and entrepreneurs who count every rupee, right down to the cost of fuel.
It uses Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology, so there’s no need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)—saving ongoing costs while meeting emission standards and keeping it both budget-friendly and environmentally safe. The Ace Gold+ runs on a turbocharged Dicor diesel engine that delivers 22bhp and 55Nm of torque, carries up to 900kg, and offers several load deck choices—ready for everything from hauling crates of produce to handling small-scale logistics.
Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head – SCVPU at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, says the launch carries forward the Ace’s twenty-year legacy of reshaping last-mile transport—making daily operations simpler, boosting profits, and fueling India’s drive to build and grow.
The Ace Gold+ joins Tata Motors’ small commercial lineup—home to models like the Ace Pro, Ace, Intra, and Yodha—offering payloads from 750kg to 2 tonnes and powertrains ranging from diesel and petrol to CNG, bi-fuel, and even electric, like the quiet hum of a charged motor pulling away.
Tata Motors’ Sampoorna Seva 2.0 programme also gives customers AMC packages, genuine spare parts, and round-the-clock roadside assistance, all backed by more than 2,500 service outlets across the country and the Star Guru network of skilled technicians ready with tools in hand.
That puts the Tata Ace Gold+ Diesel Mini-Truck in a sweet spot—as a dependable, budget-friendly choice that businesses can rely on without added hassle.
