Tata Motors has launched the all-new Winger Plus, a roomy 9-seater built for shuttling staff or carrying tour groups, with wide windows perfect for taking in the view. Priced at ₹20.60 lakh ex-showroom in New Delhi, the new Winger Plus aims to set the segment’s benchmark with sleek styling, smart features, and up-to-date technology. The van is equipped with reclining captain seats, cushioned armrests, individual USB ports, dedicated AC vents, and a roomy cabin offering sufficient legroom and luggage space for passengers. With its monocoque chassis, it delivers better safety and stability, plus a ride so smooth it feels like a car, easing driver fatigue on long hauls.
Beneath the hood, a 2.2L Dicor diesel engine hums, delivering 100 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. It also integrates Tata Motors’ Fleet Edge connected platform, offering operators real-time vehicle tracking, advanced telematics, predictive diagnostics, and intelligent fleet management—down to detailed alerts on parameters such as abnormal engine temperature.
Anand S, Vice President and Head of Commercial Passenger Vehicle Business at Tata Motors, said during the launch, “We’ve built the Winger Plus to give passengers a premium level of comfort—think soft, supportive seats—and to offer fleet owners real, lasting value.” Packed with class-leading features, top-notch efficiency, and the lowest ownership cost, it handles everything from shuttling staff to carrying tourists past city landmarks.
This new model is poised to raise the bar for commercial passenger vehicles, adding to Tata Motors’ lineup that stretches from nimble 9-seater vans to towering 55-seater buses in a range of powertrains. The new Winger Plus will also come with support from Sampoorna Seva 2.0, the company’s vehicle lifecycle program that promises quick turnaround times, AMC packages, genuine spare parts, and roadside help anywhere in the country—even on a dusty highway miles from town.
With more than 4,500 sales and service outlets spread across India, Tata Motors is set to strengthen its foothold in commercial passenger vehicles with the rollout of the Winger Plus.
