Motohaus India has officially announced the upcoming launch of the VLF Mobster scooter in India later this year. Following the reasonably successful launch of the Tennis electric scooter, VLF is now venturing into the ICE two-wheeler space. The Mobster will be VLF’s first ICE scooter, to be assembled locally through a strategic tie-up with KAW Veloce Motors at their Kolhapur facility.
The VLF Mobster exudes boldness with aggressive styling and muscular lines, projecting a commanding presence through its sleek design. Its standout appearance features a unique twin-headlamp setup cleverly integrated into the front apron, distinct from other scooters on Indian roads. A single-piece seat enhances its robust aesthetic, while uniquely styled side panels and a wide handlebar inspired by street bikes add to its sporty appeal.
The Mobster features high-end hardware beyond its visual appeal, reinforcing its premium positioning with impressive specifications. It comes equipped with disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, dual rear shock absorbers, and alloy wheels fitted with 120-section tyres at the front.
A standout tech feature is its 5-inch full-colour TFT display, which enables smartphone screen mirroring. It also offers a USB charging port, switchable dual-channel ABS, and a built-in dashcam—particularly useful for Indian road conditions.
Motohaus has yet to confirm whether the Mobster will be powered by a 125cc engine producing 12 bhp and 11.7 Nm of torque, or a larger 180cc unit delivering 18 bhp and 15.7 Nm. Colour options are expected to include Grey, White, Red, and Yellow.
